The changing focus of the big carriers on the three East-West trades is already reflected in our calculations of weekly nominal capacities currently offered.

The current offering between the Far East and Europe remains fairly stable with almost 442K teu of weekly nominal capacity available.
Current weekly capacity between Asia and North America however is already down 10% since its peak in April 2022.

This figure will further decrease in the upcoming weeks as more Transpacific loops are closed.
