The most astonishing numbers were posted by the Port of Los Angeles, where the number of inbound loads leaped by 122.5%, more than doubling the 220,254 inbound loaded TEUs the port had handled a year earlier. So great was the year-over-year difference (269,860 TEUs) that it alone exceeded the 249,395 inbound loads in March at Savannah.
