Asia-Pacific maritime trade remains the backbone of global flows

The focus this week is World steel production. Last week, the World Steel Association (Worldsteel) published its estimates for global crude steel production in December 2020, hence we also now have the full year figures for the year 2020. The figures for the period as a whole still make for grim reading, but there is clearly a light in the tunnel, as the trend in recent months is very encouraging.
