The Far East–Europe container trade has reached record capacity levels as carriers deploy more vessels on the corridor.
Weekly deployed capacity on the Far East–Europe tradelane has climbed to an unprecedented level, remaining above 521,000 TEU for three consecutive weeks. This marks the highest weekly deployment ever recorded on this corridor.
The OCEAN Alliance ( COSCOSHIPPING , cmacgm and Evergreen) currently controls 32.4% of total deployed capacity on the route.
The Gemini Cooperation ( Maersk and HapagLloydAG ) ranks second with 24.0%, while standalone MSC accounts for 21.3%. The Premier Alliance (ONE, HMM and Yang Ming) holds a further 16.7%.
Non-alliance carriers represent the remaining 5.6% of weekly deployed capacity.
