The medium-sized carriers grew their fleets by an average 5.2% over the past twelve months which is below the 8.2% growth for the overall fleet in 2023.
SeaLead Shipping and Ningbo Ocean Shipping Co (NBOSCO) were the fastest growing medium-sized carriers last year. In the course of last year, SeaLead added 43,300 teu of capacity to its fleet.
