U.S. West Coast ports – healthy volume gains in April

The Port of Long Beach handled 364,665 inbound loads in April, a healthy 16.3% gain over a year earlier and a 14.7% gain over the volume recorded in April of pre-pandemic 2019. Over at the neighboring Port of Los Angeles, inbound loads (416,929) jumped 21.3% year-over-year. That also meant the nation’s busiest container port processed 15.6% more in-bound loads than it had in April 2019.
