Global ports development report

This report, produced by Shanghai International Shipping Institute looks at how the global ports and shipping sector perform last year. In 2022, the cargo throughput of the world’s major ports increased by 1.4% year-on-year, a decrease of 3.1 percentage points compared with 2021, showing a general slowdown trend.
