LNG Freight Rates Stabilise

LNG carriers

As traders begin to evaluate freight positions to cover the winter period, Spark25 Pacific December prices have stabilised.

Despite falls since last December’s highs ($123,500), the assessments for December 20 delivery have remained relatively flat, increasing by $1500/day over the last 2 weeks to $75,000/day.

As December contracts for both FE LNG and TTF increase, it remains unclear how winter LNG freight rates will react.
